On October 10, 2024, SINAG Cagayan Valley took part in the DOST-led Capacity Building Activity for Provincial Science and Technology (S&T) Personnel. Represented by Engr. Rachelle Joy A. Consigna, Project Development Officer II, the consortium shared its core programs and initiatives aimed at strengthening the regional startup ecosystem.

The event served to equip participants in supporting local government units (LGUs) in implementing the Smart and Sustainable Communities Program (SSCP)—a DOST flagship initiative that envisions resilient, technology-driven, and inclusive communities across the country.
