The CSU TBIs, specifically Cagayan Valley Legumes Technology Business Incubator and CSU BizNEST, through the Technology Transfer and Business Development Office (TTBDO) in partnership with the SINAG Cagayan Valley hosted the Agrinnovation: Technology Pitch on Digital Innovation for Agriculture - Andrews Campus on February 28, 2024, at the TBI Office, Cagayan State University - Andrews Campus.
A total of 26 teams, consisting of 80 BS Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering students from CSU - Carig Campus, pitched their innovative digital solutions in various areas such as Precision Agriculture, Smart Irrigation Systems, Automation in Farming, Climate-Resilient Crop Monitoring, Sustainable Energy Solutions for Agriculture, Carbon Capture Technologies in Agribusiness, Eco-Friendly Pest and Disease Management, Water Conservation Technologies, Agroecology Practices and Innovations, and Sensor Technologies for Environmental Monitoring. Additionally, five (5) mentors and expert panels, namely, Dr. Junel B. Guzman, Dr. Jose D. Guzman, Engr. Jennyfer Rabanera, Prof. Jeremiah Gonzaga, and Engr. Roldan Ace B. Tabangay provided guidance and evaluation for the presented technologies.
The Agrinnovation: Technology Pitch on Digital Innovations for Agriculture not only fosters innovation and knowledge-sharing but also inspires a new generation of agricultural technologists committed to making a positive impact. This transformative platform will drive the growth and sustainability of the agriculture sector in the region and beyond.
