The CSU TBIs, specifically BizNEST and CVLTBI, through the Technology Transfer and Business Development Office (TTBDO) in partnership with the SINAG Cagayan Valley Consortium hosted the Agrinnovation: Technology Pitch on Digital Innovations for Agriculture on February 28, 2024, at the TBI Office, Cagayan State University - Andrews Campus.
The Agrinnovation: Technology Pitch on Digital Innovations for Agriculture is a pivotal platform for the agricultural and climate technology sectors focusing on critical issues and innovative solutions. By concentrating on AgTech and ClimateTech, the initiative aimed to address pressing challenges such as food security, resource depletion, and environmental degradation. It also aimed to foster a culture of innovation, promoting the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and sustainable agricultural practices. Moreover, it provided collaboration and knowledge-sharing opportunities among stakeholders, including visionaries, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and academia.
Objectives:
A total of 26 teams, consisting of 80 BS Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering students from CSU - Carig Campus, pitched their innovative digital solutions addressing pressing challenges in the agriculture and climate sectors. Additionally, five mentors and expert panels provided guidance and evaluation for the presented technologies.
HighlightsWe are now opening our call for applications for startups, startup enablers, private and community organizations, higher education institutions, LGUs, and NGOs to be part of our consortium for opportunities to access collaborative initiatives, mentorship, networking, and fundraising for your organization.
